Five of us decided to get away into the NSW mountain and coastal area. Alf, Sam, Jack, Nick and myself. Plans were to meet Alf at Heyfield, then Maffra, Stratford, Bairnsdale for lunch then on to Cann River, afternoon tea and Bombala for two nights. All went smoothly and it's a pleasure to stay at the Heritage Guest house - the best place to stay and eat at in Bombala.
Half a dozen Ulysseans associated with Melbourne Branch plus riders associated with the Orange Knights (SES), Black Dog riders and others assisted with running of this event.
We started with a briefing at St Kilda on Saturday morning in very blustery conditions
