Euroa Ride 6 May 2018

Submitted by John_Cook on Wed, 16/05/2018 - 9:04pm

We had a great mix of over a dozen people who came out to join me on the ride to Euroa in good riding conditions.  These included Tony (of MC Cruise - branch sponsor who came out for his first ride with the branch and to test some gear cool) who was made welcome by all.   Jeff and his entourage were on some very interesting bikes.  Dennis readily volunteered to do tail end duties yes

VSK Day 2017 Report by Suzanne Clarke

Submitted by John_Cook on Mon, 11/12/2017 - 8:45pm

This year’s VSK Day was again successful.

We were blessed with perfect weather with warm and sunny conditions and the open space of the Crystal Brook Rotunda area certainly suits the event.

As usual, Melbourne Branch members arrived early to set up the necessary items such as signage, the generator and barbecue, gazebo for the face painter, music and of course the food.

Summer and our Sponsors

Submitted by John_Cook on Wed, 06/12/2017 - 7:09pm

First I would like to thank our sponsors (Andy Strapz, BM Ringwood and MC Cruise) for their financial support which enables us to provide much (e.g. website VSK etc) to you without the need for any branch fees.

Secondly I would point out that they do this for business reasons, so what better time to think of them than when asked “What would you like for Christmas?”

I will now mention our sponsors in alphabetical order:

I’m not going to talk about the obvious things which cause most of the deaths and serious injuries on our roads namely driving whilst impaired (by alcohol, drugs or fatigue) driving while distracted (e.g. texting) or deliberate risk taking such as inappropriate speed and overtaking when unsafe etc.  All I can say is don’t do those things and do your very best to avoid the idiots doing so.
