Sam Bateman, Roger Foot and perhaps a few others are going, departing Melbourne Thursday 3rd and leaving Thredbo to return on Sunday 6th.
Thanks to an invitation from Chris and Sally, I had the good fortune to be able to enjoy another overseas motor bike trip this year. On Chris’ recommendation we used Malaysia Motorcycle Getaways (Ride Malaysia) and put simply, we had a great time.
Eight bikes, with Harry and Anna two- up, assembled at Ardeer for a short ride tailored to winter conditions, Harry volunteering as tail end Charlie. In the event the weather was more early spring than winter!
Pat has mentioned this several times, but the ride calendar between now and Spring is looking rather bare and it should not be like a deciduous tree.
The ride calendar is normally one of the major strengths of the Melbourne Branch and the camaraderie of participating in rides seems to be be very much enjoyed by the vast majority of those who participate.
