Departs Dandenong 0800 sharp on the Saturday as it is a bit over 550 kilometres on Day one to our overnight destination at Howmans Gap via Falls Creek.  Ride Leader John Cook (03) 97285769 or 0419 599 530.  I will need names and numbers several weeks in advance to assist with catering and accommodation so there is no last minute roll up

Ring and discuss with me well in advance if you are considering going.  Howmans Gap provides bunk room accommodation with linen & towels provided along with full dinner and full cooked breakfast.  Cost is $67 per person payable on site.

There are also several detached houses with double bedrooms available.  Price will be updated nearer event.

This event is a long ride with a morning tea stop at Heyfield after approx 160km, then another 130km to Bruthen for lunch and another 260 km to the destination along the Tambo valley, over Mt Hotham and the Tawonga Gap before a final break for fuel & snacks at Mt Beauty and then the ascent to Howmans Gap.  Allow approximately 7 hours riding plus 2 hours rest stops.   Day Two is approximately 400 kilometres.

It is a great ride with some great roads and scenery but it is not for the inexperienced or easily fatigued as the route is potentially dangerous if you are not fully alert.
