A collection of photos from the long weekend. Five of us departed Saturday morning and headed out through Gippsland along the Old Sale Road, avoiding the highway, with a detour to Bruthen and Buchan before dropping back down to Orbost. We then rode up Bonang Highway (with 96km of winding road) to Delegate and onto Bombala. This is a great road with only 10km unsealed near the border. Sunday saw us up early for a ride to the coast along Imlay Rd. Alf and myself did some adventure riding to see the lookout at Disaster Bay and then Cape Green lighthouse whilst the other riders had a coffee stop at Eden. Then onto Merimbula for lunch via Nethercote Road. Back to Bombala along Myrtle Mountain Rd and Mount Darragh Road. Ian joined us for Sunday night dinner and the ride back Monday. Did various stops on the way home and saw playful seals at Marlo wharf. All up I did 1,300 km. Great weather and a great getaway. Thanks to Barry and John for settting up the ride and for Stuart, Alf and Ian for your company. A special thanks to Barry for having a funny joke, saying or story to share to keep us laughing.
