Hi my name is Harry and i am riding a Suzuki Gsx 1400.

I would like to invite all of you to my trip to far north,as i am trying to flee the cold Melbourne winter.

My trip take please at the last week of May as i plan to arrive there(Cairns) by the 1st of June.

I am planning to stay there and ride again with members of Cairns Ulysses until the end of September,

hitting back on the first week of October.

So anyone interested for part or all the trip you are welcome to ride along with me as it is going to be a long and interesting ride.

i will be using road common sense and not planning to ride after 3-4 pm. to many roos there trying to come along with you.

So drop me a line open for suggestions about the trip route or express your interest on my E-mail .

Is is not where you going but how you arrive there, that matters the sightseeings are memorable as i did that trip before.

Regards to all Harry

Hi as i was expected no one else was for, that short of a long ride to far north QLD.

My ride was very lonely but not uneventful. On my first day had a close encounter with roos and that's about midday near Bendigo.

on my second day was rain heavily in NSW and about 40 khm from Hillston my rain cover from RJAYS come untied and completely come off  but not on the road ,instead

was tangle on my back wheel and melted inside my chain and sprocket  twisting my chain guard.

After 2 hours of waiting in heavy rain RSCV send help and after road assist,Block cut me loose and fix the chain guard i was on my way.I had long 6 days ride 5 nights

spend in motels i arrived in cairns.,but not before had close encounters with wild Goats in NSW ,Roos and the worst of all,Eagles eating caucuses on the road.

I met a rider coming from the north towards Victoria after the AGM and had a talk with him and a few more hitting the road from North to South.

Emus proved to be a handful, specially when they run beside of the road with 80 khm top speed and changing directions in front of you at the last second.

That was near Emerald at outback QLD.

In cairns i had to change new chain and sprockets after about 2.000khm from new cause of the incident i had in NSW.

I couch up with Raymond in Cairns a couple times and went a ride with Cairns Ulysses members up at tablelands.

Regards to all Harry.
