I am quoting the organiser of this event below;
"We would love to have you volunteer at the One Day to Conquer Cancer benefiting Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre on Sunday October 29.
Our MotoCrew play a crucial role during the event as they work with our dispatch staff and local law enforcement to guarantee safe passage for our riders and walkers during the event. They also act as our eyes and ears on the route, communicate any issues on the route to our event control team.
Shift times differ, however the base shift is around 6:30am – 4:00pm.
Please call me if you would like to discuss further, but we would love to have you involved with the event this year!

Thank you for your swift response, I am sorry for the late notice.
So effectively, our Moto Crew mark tricky intersections that our Walkers and Riders may cross on their journeys. The main role is to warn participants as they come by to look out, but also cheer and support them with anything they need. I can put you through to Poppy Morris who is the team captain for the event and he will coordinate it all with you, and inform you of your specific roles.
His details are: firstname.lastname@example.org / 0423 590 450.
If you would just like to send me the names and numbers of all who are interested, I can get them registered myself. Alternatively, they can fill out this online form: http://participate.theoneday.org.au/site/Survey?ACTION_REQUIRED=URI_ACTION_USER_REQUESTS&SURVEY_ID=3662. "
If you wish to assist in running this worthy event, please contact Melanie or Poppy direct via the contact details provided above
