I wish to thank all those members who came to Alexandra today to present me with a Telemachus award. Several of those present I had not seen for one reason or another for some time, and I appreciate their presence. It was indeed a thrill to receive this award for something which over the years I had fully enjoyed.
Broken Hill Ride, 11-13 June 2016
Six of us, Terry, Shamus, Dennis, Jack, Gary and myself fronted for the ride to Broken Hill.

Well perhaps it should be called the “Autumn Alpine Tour” as fortunately there was no sign of ice this year. The coldest bit of the ride was riding through some low lying areas on the outskirts of Melbourne to the start point. Once assembled,

Don Valley road to Mt Donna Buang, down Acheron Way, Ned track (can you spot the black wallaby hop across) to Marysville then into Cathedral Ranges doing Tweed Spur track and Tom Burns track to Rubicon.
Nothing too difficult and we are always looking for new members.
