Date:
Sunday, May 28, 2023 - 10:00am

Leader Roger Foot, Phone No 0409231676. Morning Tea Woodend.
Roger will lead us out from Ardeer, going to Woodend for Morning Tea and on to Gisborne for Lunch. There are some excellent sweeping roads out there and getting back to Melbourne is easy, as the days get cooler and shorter.

JULY RIDE LEADERS WANTED.

Submitted by ANDREW.KENNEDY on Sat, 27/05/2023 - 4:59pm

We are all set for Ride Leaders until the beginning of July. You are all welcome to lead and let us enjoy your favorite road. Different leaders are the best way for all of us to discover new interesting roads. Please don't be shy. All of us regulars began by leading our first ride. The good thing is the Leader never makes a mistake. He planned it that way. Only those following make errors. Even U-turns are planned. It keeps everyone behind sharp. So, put your hand up to lead. At the end of the the day I think you will find you enjoyed giving everyone else someone to chase.

Ride Report - Kalkallo, not to Clunes (21st May 2023)

Submitted by MikeF on Sun, 21/05/2023 - 6:40pm

The weather during breakfast was just plain horrible - grey, drizzly and wet ! But the rain radar suggested the drizzle was heading north-east while the ride was going north-west. So I rode off to Kalkallo expecting to only see one or two others turn up, to be met by three riders already waiting ! In the end 11 of us left Kalkallo (once Jack had arrived) and went up to Wallan and across to Woodend, with the temperature staying in the 9-10 deg range.

South Gippsland Ride, 14/05/2023, Leader: Andrew Kennedy.

For Mother's Day we were greeted with as perfect a weather day as could be imagined for Autumn. Only a relatively small but keen group turned up at Officer. Family commitments are important. Also we have a number of members either overseas, recovering from operations, skin grafts or just returned from time away at the National Rally.
