Ride over Victoria's highest sealed road (Mt Hotham) cross the Tawonga Gap and stay overnight at Tawonga near Mt Beauty.
I intend to keep this very simple and traditional by reverting to the late May date.  Everyone to arrange their own accommodation.
I have booked accommodation at Mountain Creek Motel and plan to dine at their restaurant on the Saturday night.  They even have a drying room!
Meal arrangements to be finalised closer to the time.
This location also reduces the chances of getting iced in overnight.
Please contact them direct and mention the Ulysses Booking for a better rate than advertised.

THIS IS NOT A RIDE FOR THE INEXPERIENCED OR EASILY FATIGUED. 900 KM of challenging roads in two days.

  1. If you're coming please organise yourself and
  2. Let me know you're coming

I already have a number of bookings including a couple from Gippsland and other members are already planning to meet us in Bruthen at lunch time.
If you live in the north west of the State you could even ride up the Kiewa Valley and meet us at Tawonga enlightened

  1. If you're thinking of coming please book now and let me know.
  2. The venue will not be serving breakfast so I'm thinking of a 45 minute ride on the Sunday morning and having breakfast at a choice of bakeries in Myrtleford.
