Eight riders came for ride. Gary, Vince, Paul, Graham, Les, Ian, Nick and Andrew leading. Thanks to Nick for taking rear rider role. We were all hoping for sunshine which never happened properly, just a brief glimpse upon arrival at Seymour. We didn't get rained on either so on balance it wasn't bad. Five BMWs and two Suzukis and one very quick Kawasaki H2SXSE.
Our journey was Yarra Glen to Glenburn, Yea then Highlands to Seymour for morning tea at McDonalds. To make up for the standard of service we were plied with extra food. On balance, no complaints. M/T quickly over and out of Seymour in the Yea direction, then right turn to Tallarook, onto Pyalong then Lancefield for lunch. Cool all day, as low as 8 degrees. The roads still have lots of holes, Melba Hwy the worst, so care is needed to avoid damage or worse when out there.
Some of our members are away interstate or overseas at present so ride numbers continue to be small at present. As Spring gets warmer and members return I'm sure the rides will get larger in number. It can't be because some are getting older. Riding keeps you younger and focused. Get out there and make it work for you.
