The weather forecast for later in the week isn't great so half a dozen of us popped out to explore some of those delightful roads in South Gippsland today.    It was a bit cooler than expected but we stayed dry. 
After meeting in Emerald, Suzanne, Graham Ian, John, John and I (no I'm not stuttering)  made use of Paternoster Road and found our way to Nar Nar Goon before heading south to Athlone

We had a great turn out for the ride today and clearly DST didn't confuse many as over two dozen assembled at Officer for Mike's ride to Mirboo North including Holly all the way from Koroit and branch ride "first timer" John on – yes a BMW 1250 GS!  

The weather was also perfect for riding and there was a great variety of both people and bikes. 

About a dozen of us gathered at Lilydale for Andrew’s ride to Walhalla in very good riding weather and there was a great mix of people and bikes.  

Over 6 litres in those first three bikes! 

The two stroke added a certain atmosphere to the ride too!

Last weekend I joined the Wall to Wall Ride -Remembering police who have fallen in the line of duty.  I attended the morning service at the Police Memorial in St Kilda Road, Melbourne

Shrine Guard took part in the ceremony
