Nagambie Ride, 30/04/2023.

Submitted by ANDREW.KENNEDY on Thu, 04/05/2023 - 12:59pm

A fine Autumn day with about 16 members turning up. Khiat had just had a new rear tyre fitted by A1 Motorcycles. He was happy with the service and price. Travel to Morning Tea was via Yarra Glen, King Lake, Whittlesea (where we picked up Vince Green and his new V-Strom), Wallan, Romsay and stopping at Lancefield. Next was on to some of my favourite roads going Pyalong, Seymour and the back way to Nagambie for lunch. The way back for most of us was Freeway to Seymour, Highlands to Yea then home via Break-O -Day, Glenburn, Yarra Glen.

Seymour Ride 23 April 23 and Beyond

Submitted by John_Cook on Fri, 28/04/2023 - 2:12pm

It was great to see so many people out on Sunday after the appalling weather the two previous weekends.
I had to do it tough and ride on to Bonnie Doon after the ride and spend as few days by the lake with friends before riding home over the Black Spur with zero traffic.
Please don't feel too sorry for me.   wink

Seymour Ride 23 April 2023

Don’t you just love those days when everything goes to plan?
Well Sunday’s ride just wasn’t one of those days!
Despite that, I thoroughly enjoyed it and I hope most others did too.
After two abysmal weather Sundays, about 2 dozen of us decided to get out and enjoy the weather for the ride from Lilydale to Seymour.

Date:
Sunday, July 2, 2023 - 10:00am to 3:00pm

Departs Kalkallo  Ride Leader John Cook 0419 599 530
Details still to be polished and checked.
I envisage a run north as far as Heathcote (some locations I still need to check) and then across to Nagambie and return via Longwood, Highlands and Yea.
