Mid week Shire exploration from Lilydale

In between all the social commitments and weather extremes I find myself free on Thursday and the bureau says it isn't  too hot or wet for riding
The (rough) plan is to leave Lilydale about 0930 and explore some of the Yarra Valley before ascending to Mount Donna Buang for a rest break and to take in the view
I recommend bringing a drink flask and some snacks left over from the festive season for a break up there.

The annual New Year ride to Eildon, with morning tea/coffee stop in Yea.
A shortish ride, about 130kms (and hopefully not too hot !).

Western Victoria Exploration December 2022

The Trip
For the start of summer, a group of us headed off to enjoy some riding before things got too busy.
Things often don’t go to plan and this trip certainly confirmed that while we had an eventful few days exploring some of Western Victoria. 
Twenty members associated with Melbourne Branch took part and several members from the Grampians Branch joined in on different days too.
