Due to the forecast of "biblical quantities" of rain, plus thunder and lightning etc on 5 May, I have postponed this ride for a week 
I intend to explore via Nutfield & Arthurs Creek to Toorourrong Reservoir for a rest break - Bring hot flask & snack,
then explore as far as Yea and stop at the old station on the bike / rail trail for a casual picnic style lunch.
If this works I hope to make it a Sunday ride in the near future.

I've had a number of people withdraw due to the weather forecast so I'm afraid I'm simply cancelling the ride proposed for Thursday 12 May.

It seems odd that I sit in sunshine as I type this apology for wimping out again
I still prefer our circumstance to the accurate forecasts of the problems they're having in Queensland right now.
