Melbourne Branch will hold its 19th annual Odyssey at Nagambie Lakes Leisure Park, beautifully located between the Goulburn River and Lake Nagambie.

Nearby attractions include a variety of wineries, museums and merchants plus a good variety of roads for weekend rides.

Accommodation includes a variety of cabins which sleep from two to eight people, a 12-person bunkhouse with two rooms of six bunks each, plus powered large campsites on which several tents could be set up to enhance camaraderie.

Registration fee of $55 per person includes a badge (for the first 50 registrations) and Saturday night dinner with live entertainment at the on-site function centre.

We will also have a casual BYO BBQ on the Friday night

and an organised ride on the Saturday starting at 10am.  Please have your tanks full!

There is also a strong rumour that there will be a boat trip to nearby wineries on Saturday for those not riding enlightened

It is time to think about ringing Nagambie Lakes and booking your accommodationyes

If you're thinking about going in a group think about sharing accommodation.  There are a variety of cabins plus bunkhouses. enlightened

"Registering" your intention to come would also be very helpful wink

If you've been before you know it is a great venue with great entertainment.   If you haven't, it is time to come along, give it a try  and enjoy the camaraderie.

We already have  a good number of people who have registered with me including including a good size group from Gippsland yes

If you intend to come, please let me know and also arange your accommodation.

With regard to sharing I am aware of one male member who would be interested in sharing a cabin or bunkhouse, so if you're interested in booking a bunkhouse or cabin and need someone to share the cost please let me know and I can put you in touch with each other enlightened

It is now only 6 weeks away so get youru skates on, make yoru arrangements and let me know.wink

We now have a very good number of people registered with me.  Thank You yes

If you are intending to come and have not actually let me know, please do so as soon as practicable as the event in now less than three weeks away and we need to know definite numbers particularly to book and arrange catering for the Saturday night dinner. enlightened

This year there are enhanced opportunities for camaraderie as the Victorian Breakfast Club are meeting in Nagambie for breakfast on the Saturday morning at 0930 so that is yet another opportunity to meet ulysses members from right around Victoria. cool

Following that I will be leading a riide from Nagambie at 1100 on the Saturday.  There will also a ride from Kalkallo at 0930 on the Saturday to join up with this ride to lunch stop at Yarck.

To everyone who put the Odyssey together and organised all the details, to John for his 2 rides and to the Nagambie Lakes staff and caterers - many thanks.  It was a most impressive weekend!!
