Riding Shirtz are back

After a Bex, a cuppa tea and a lie-down Riding Shirtz have been pressed back into service.

I found that T shirts aren’t that comfy under bike jackets.  The modern jackets’ armour tends to rub and chaff away at my elbows.  The Riding Shirt was born.  A long sleeved, heavy weight cotton T shirt.

A cheeky faux dictionary definition of motorcyclist is printed on the back for a bit of fun.   Terrific as a base layer on cool mornings , it offers some sun protection and who doesn't love cotton?

I chose grime control grey marle because every time I walk past a bike I get grubby for some reason

RRP $28 plus post

I called in at Andy's the other day, bought one (got a Ulysses discount to boot) and tested it today.   I like the idea of a long sleeved T shirt particularly under a mesh jacket etc to allow some airflow and I also like the lighter colour as it doesn't attract the heat (like black ones do) when you take your jacket off during stops on a hot day.yes

On John Taylor's recommendation I also bought some Grip Puppies (soft grips for handlebars) for my son's VFR after I did some commuting on it - the VFR.wink
