Badges on the vest would indicate the owner was going to Melbourne Branch Autumn Ice Runs as far back as 2000 and as recently as 2009 (the last time a badge was struck).
(I missed 2000 but I believe it was the year it was snowing when they awoke at Mount Beauty on the Sunday morning and a "piper" may also have attended)
