Publicity Request
I have just checked the Winter 2022 Riding On Magazine and I'm afraid I can't find any reference to Upcoming Events and I know material was submitted.  Please correct me if I'm wrong
Can you please let people in your wider circle know of this event.   I am personally aware of interest from SA and NSW already but people need to know and plan by August so please spread the news to those Ulysses contacts you may have interstate.   enlightened

For those not doing a ride on the Saturday there are plenty of options;

  • This week I enjoyed doing the Silo Art Trail north of Benalla and that could be a nice "day trip" via Tatong.
  • The Information Centres at both Mansfield and Benalla can provide heaps of ideas

Enjoy

I hold a receipt for deposit on booking 19735 for a Miner's Cottage for 4 people - Messr's Fittall, Tepe and Gleason, who will be accompanied by Dr Foot.

Sailbad The Sinner
(Greg Gleason)

Pat was contacted by the caravan park management and the following is self explanatory
"The Mansfield Holiday Park rang to tell me they have eight powered sites left (held for us).
They will be held until Sunday and then sold to others."

It's only just over a fortnight away, if you want to secure a powered site, please do so now.

  1. It is almost upon us now laugh
  2. We are planning on having a casual BYO Everything B B Q at the Caravan Park on Friday night to get the camaraderie going
  3. We are planning a ride involving a circuit of Lake Eildon via Jamieson and Eildon on Saturday.. There will be an adventure bike diversion from this ride for those interested.
  4. Dinner is planned for the golf cub on Saturday night
  5. No formal arrangements for Sunday, but some of us staying on to relax a little longer enlightened

See you there cool

Sorry to say Greg Gleason and I have decided not to risk travel to Mansfield for the Odyssey today due to the risk of ongoing rising floodwater.
